Three-Fifths by John Vercher
This product was recommended by Graeme McGaw from Book Series In Order
John burst into the writing scene last year with his debut novel, Three-Fifths, which was nominated for various Best First Novel awards. It takes place in the 90s while the OJ Simpson trial is going on. Bobby meets up with his best friend Aaron, who has just been released from prison and while in there has been converted to a neo-Nazi. This puts Bobby in a tough spot as he is secretly mixed race. Aaron commits an act that Bobby can’t ignore and he has to confront everything. It’s just an incredible book that is gritty, hard hitting and really gets to the emotions. The type of book that you will think about long after you have finished reading it.
John Crow’s Devil by Marlon James
This product was recommended by Agnieszka Cejrowska from Profesjonalne Pozycjonowanie
First, let me just make something clear: it is not a book for everyone. It is both sacrilegious and poetic. Beautiful and vulgar. Simple and complicated. You can catch yourself on wanting to simply throw the boo away yet you are unable to do so. Only Marlon James can play with readers’ emotions in such a manner. John Crow’s Devil truly is a rollercoaster of emotions.
Mixed Business by Livvy Zoe
This product was recommended by Stella from StellaHeartPR
Mixed Business is a quirky, sexy, and smart contemporary romance by debut author Livvy Zoe. She gives us a glimpse into the world of corporate crime and taboo work romance. The novel is fast-paced and high action. Who knew fighting corporate crimes could be sexy– but this novel smolders! We see the romance through the eyes of a self-conscious character named Nora. She is relatable and like most of us, she deals with anxiety and low self-esteem. She is a heroine not because she fights corporate crime and wins the man, but because she overcomes her inner hang-ups. It’s great to read about well-developed characters outside of the usual stereotype.

This product was recommended by Lalanii Wilson-Jones from LalaniiWilson-Jones

Things take a dramatic turn when she discovers that the man who stole her heart tries to steal her fortune, and is exposed as the ULTIMATE GOLD DIGGER!
