Real estate investment might look as if it’s extremely easy when you’ve ‘made it’ and very difficult when you’re at zero.

These books offer inspiration, encouragement and most importantly valuable tips on how to begin your property empire. Full of stories on how successful investors started out with nothing, how to elevate from a small time to large-scale investor, these books are really all you need to know about real-estate investment.

All that’s left to do is to pick up some books – and that’s a small, easy step anyone can take!

#1 Buy, Rehab, Rent, Refinance, Repeat by David M Greene

Buy, Rehab, Rent, Refinance, Repeat by David M Greene
The BRRRR Book really puts into detail how you can get started with the Buy-Rehab-Rent-Refinance-Repeat strategy for single-family homes. It outlines all the basics from the purchase to putting the finishing touches on the home. I like the BRRRR book a lot, mostly because rather than relying on high-level concepts on running a real estate business, it really goes into the nitty-gritty of what you should actually be looking for and doing.

#2 Long-Distance Real Estate Investing by David Greene

Long-Distance Real Estate Investing by David Greene
I like to recommend this book to people interested in real estate investing because it was the book that gave me the kick I needed in order to start investing. This book teaches people how to invest in real estate that isn’t in your own neighborhood. Through this book I learned that there are plenty of other people investing out of state, and that as long as you do your research you can too. This book will help to equip you with the knowledge you need in order to invest out of state and to be successful at it.

#3 Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki

Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki
Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki brilliantly illustrates the contrast between his two father figures, one of whom was incredibly wealthy, and one of whom, despite advanced education and a high paying job, was essentially “poor.” The book, while not 100% dedicated to real estate, highlights the importance of investing in real property acritical means toward amassing wealth.

#6 Sell It Like Serhant by Ryan Serhant

Sell It Like Serhant by Ryan Serhant
Most real estate books come from people not even actively selling real estate any more and are filled with the same basic fluffy bull shit. Ryan built a real estate career, in NYC, from nothing. He explains his failures and his successes with zero fucks given. But most importantly explains, in detail, how he figured out real estate on his own and how a new agent cant explode their business. I have listened to his book 4 times in the past 6 months and learn more every single time. This book has changed my life.
