So You Want to be a Mud Engineer by Andy Philips
This product was recommended by Tim Connon from ParamountQuote Insurance Advisors
I have read this book several times and it always proves to be helpful I would recommend this to anyone. This book definitely provides introductory insight into the drilling fluids sect of the oil and gas industry. Drilling mud is one of the most costly parameters in oil and gas drilling, and usually entails a conglomeration of knowledge including: physics, chemistry, math, manufacturing, etc. This book manages to sum up many of the basic concepts needed to understand the function and purpose of drilling fluid and conveys how mud is used in the field.
